A retaining wall is a fantastic feature for properties surrounded by elevated hillsides or areas known for mudslides or erosion. Over time, however, retaining walls can become covered in residue from salt in snowmelt products to mud from the rainy season and even decomposing grass clippings and leaves from yard maintenance. These events will cause a retaining wall to become discolored, and eventually, the residue can begin to erode the wall itself. Seasonal pressure washing of retaining walls will help you keep your property looking beautiful and well kept year after year.
A ‘Staggering’ Difference
This homeowner contacted us to pressure wash the retaining walls surrounding their property. The stonework was staggered, which made careful pressure washing even more critical to ensure the removal of all of the residue inside each layer. As you can see from the before and after photos, we restored this retaining wall to a beautiful facade around the homeowner’s yard.
